as you wish

So, this random guy IM'd tonight telling me about the new Secretly Canadian
forum
. He found me via my first record review on Damien Jurado's site.
It wasn't a real review, but probably the first time I ever wrote extensively about
a record (Rehearsals for Departure).

Anyway, he started telling me about this song on the UK version of the Letters
and Drawings single. He decided to post the song online. Beautiful beautiful stuff.
Ole D.J. did it again. Apparently, this was from the RFD sessions.

As You Wish

Checkout Taylor's dad's record store as well. (Look at that store...it's huge)

purty. it's always strange to hear a song that was recorded for an album that you've grown so close to over years that you can't imagine it being laid out any differently. i have a hard time placing this song with that album.

reminds me of the 5.1 release of the soft bulletin. even the stereo CD has a modified track listing from the original release with an extra song thrown in the middle. it's exciting, but also a little jarring. you think you know a record, and then.....

too bad my original copy is too overplayed and scratched to work anymore.
