dots and loops

I can hardly believe that July is half through. This summer has been so strange.
Everything in my life is different right now. Some things good. Some things not
so good. Ironic that a little over a year ago, I moved to Chattanooga to start a
recording studio, and I've barely done any work in that vein since I've been back.

This weekend I travel to Memphis to visit Safeguy. I haven't been out of town in a
while and I'm excited. When I get back, I'm reconfiguring my computer and
setting up shop at 0249. I plan on getting back into programming beats and doing
the electronic thing simply because I have no other options right now.

Aaron Robbs, Travis Knight, Aaron Collier, and I are starting a pop band.
We're working on getting a practice space and me, a drum kit. I've heard demos
of the songs we're doing and they're quite good. I think it'll be really good. If
nothing else, it will be fun.

BTW, I'm in the market for a drum kit and a cheap MIDI controller. If you or your
brethren has either please let me know. Gracias.
